Sharing God’s gifts

We asked Lisa if she would go with us to see a family several of us support.Today she called and said it would a good day to come out. She lives about an hour away, down the dirt road. When we arrived at Lisa’s the girls were so excited to see us. We had hugs before we could even get out of the car! After lunch, we went to see this family. We found out the dad’s name is Carlos when we got there. We had stopped on the way to Lisa’s house get some food to bring to them. 25 lbs of rice, 10 lbs of beans, 5 lbs, flour,5 lbs sugar,3 boxes of powdered milk, crisco, coffee, salt, and for a treat lollipops and cookies. We also brought along some stuffed animals. They were so grateful. We prayed with them. We found out one of the boys was sick. On the way back to Lisa’s, we stopped to see Jose’s grave. It was so sad for me as I had known him for a long time. We went back to Lisa’s she gave me some Tylenol and vitamin C to bring to the sick boy on our way home. We got home around 5:00. It was a full and rewarding day.
